The Kings County Amateur Radio Club meets at the Valley Search & Rescue (VSAR) building, 177 Middle Dyke Rd, Kentville, at 7:30 pm on the first Tuesday of the month, with the following exceptions: July and August – No Meetings.

Kings County Amateur Radio Club Net
The KCARC operates a VHF net on 147.180 MHz every Monday night at 19:00 local.
The net is currently on summer hiatus and will return in September.
The net is currently on hiatus until we have a slate of controllers to rotate through. If you are interested in being a net controller, please contact us. If you are not sure how to be a net controller, no problem, we have a sample script for you!
The net operators use the club call-sign VE1LD in honour of long time club member Wes Veale, who held the call-sign prior to becoming a silent key.
Please feel free to check-in as soon as the operator has completed announcements, called in mobile stations and opened up the net for general check-ins. If you have club or other special announcements for the net please inform the operator as soon as he/she asks for further announcements. Suggestions for Net Topics are also welcomed.
