If you are interested in being a net controller, please <a href=\"https:\/\/kcarc.ca\/index.php\/contact-us\/\" data-type=\"page\" data-id=\"91\">contact us<\/a>. If you are not sure how to be a net controller, no problem, <a href=\"https:\/\/kcarc.ca\/index.php\/kcarc-vhf-net-operator-script\/\" data-type=\"page\" data-id=\"611\">we have a sample script for you<\/a>!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The net operators use the club call-sign VE1LD in honour of long time club member Wes Veale, who held the call-sign prior to becoming a silent key.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Please feel free to check-in as soon as the operator has completed announcements, called in mobile stations and opened up the net for general check-ins. If you have club or other special announcements for the net please inform the operator as soon as he\/she asks for further announcements.
